Disabled Activists Decry a Nation's Apathy
19 October 2006Valery Zaborovsky was once an artist, a bookkeeper and a philosophy teacher, even though he was left disabled by polio as a child. Today, he says, that would be impossible for him and many other Russians confined to wheelchairs, missing limbs or glued to a pair of crutches.
