Russia – Holland 2009

On 19 June 2009 a bi-lingual, colour supplement to The Moscow Times will be published. The “Russia-Holland” supplement is an annual business publication, devoted to the partnership between Russian and Dutch companies.

This year the magazine is timed to coincide with the most glorious event in the cultural co-operation between the two countries for the last decade – the opening of Hermitage Amsterdam. The unique exhibition centre will be opened on the 19 June by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev.

23 August 2005UnknownDebt Repayment Complete Russia completed an early payment of about $15 billion of its debt to the Paris Club of creditor nations, the Finance Ministry said Monday. Russia agreed in May to pay Paris Club creditors 38 percent of its $40 billion debt ahead of schedule to cut interest costs as economic growth slows. The former Soviet nation paid about $13 billion in July. A ministry spokeswoman declined to say how much exactly was paid. (Bloomberg) Russia to Issue Eurobonds Russia plans to issue $500 million in eurobonds this year in exchange for debt on which the Soviet Union defaulted following its collapse in 1991. Russia, which accepted responsibility for Soviet debt obligations of foreign trade agencies as the communist regime crumbled, swapped part of the debt for eurobonds in December 2002 when it issued $1.19 billion of bonds due in 2030 and $183 million of 2010 bonds. (Bloomberg) Gold Output Down Russia's gold output declined by 5.
