IKAR estimates Russia's 22/23 grain exports at 62 mln tonnes, wheat - more than 48 mln

МОSCOW, July 6 (Reuters) - Agricultural consultancy IKAR estimates wheat exports from Russia in the 2022/23 season, which ended on June 30, at more than 48 million tonnes, its head Dmitry Rylko said.

It estimated total grain exports at 62 million tonnes.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has not yet given a new estimate of grain exports for 2022/23. In May it predicted 55-60 million tonnes, including 45 million tonnes of wheat. The forecast for grain exports in the new 2023/24 season is 50-55 million tonnes. (Reporting by Olga Popova, Editing by Mark Trevelyan)
